Content is the fuel and lifeblood for Generative AI and the Agentic Enterprise; the Ministry of Tourism has gone through endless obstacles and challenges with managing and governing its content, from legacy FileNet and SharePoint repositories to siloed file synch and share solutions. Unstructured data makes up almost 80% of the Ministry's data estate, and the urgency to capitalize on the ministry's unstructured data has become imperative, especially in the age of Gen-AI, and in the context of making data curated, contextualized and AI-Ready, while having the peace of mind that content is protected, properly governed and fully compliant with the policies and regulations of Saudi Arabia's NCAR (National Center for Archives) and SDAIA's policies and regulations for DCM (Document and Content Management), as well as PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law)
After careful due diligence and evaluating several platforms, the Ministry has selected and rolled out a next generation Archives and Records Management Platform (ARDOC-powered by HYLAND-Nuxeo), to fully capitalize on the following essential dimensions:

Game-Changing Search Experience: taking advantage of deep learning powered Arabic OCR, which has reached a staggering 98% accuracy on Arabic documents
AI powered: leveraging Intelligent Document Processing to enable auto-classification and metadata extraction of Arabic documents
API First: Every new piece of functionality in the Nuxeo Platform is created “API-first,” which means functionality is built from the ground up to be connected, documented, and available throughout all aspects of the platform. This approach fully embodies the open nature of the Nuxeo Platform.
